First edition. 8vo. Quarter yellow cloth over pale yellow decorated pictorial boards with paper title to spine. Edition limited to 350 numbered copies signed by the author. This is copy #60. Bukowski has added a tiny sketch beside his signature. Near fine copy with no obvious flaws. One of Bukowski's best, surprisingly uncommon.

8vo. Pp. [vi], vii-xi, 188. Limited to 300 copies, this being #133, printed on Arnold & Foster green tinted hand-made paper. Wood engraved frontispiece portrait by John Farleigh. Binding designed by Paul Nash in very dark green/black morocco decorated with onlaid abstract initials of GBS in orange and with a variation on the lower cover, a horizontal band of orange onlay at foot of both covers, only one raised band at bottom quarter of spine with an orange onlay strip beneath, titles in orange direct to spine, top edge trimmed, others deckled, stamped at bottom edge of rear pastedown: ‘Gregynog Press Bindery ... Paul Nash'. Offsetting from leather turn-in to adjoining sheet, edges dusty, otherwise interior clean and crisp. Covers slightly scuffed, however, the orange onlays (particularly on the spine) remain unfaded as is usual with this binding, covers somewhat bowed. [Harrop #40.]

First US edition. 8vo. Silver lettered blue cloth in pictorial dust jacket. This is actually diary excerpts from this man who spent nearly 4 years at the front on the German side. It has been touted as the most accurate portrayal of life on the Western Front in World War 1. Translated from the German by Basil Creighton. With an introduction by R. H. Mottram. Well-worn at the cloth edges. Dustjacket with scuffing and a crease but complete. Uncommon.

First Edition. Bound in full vellum with gilt lettering to front board and spine, and an illustration of a dancer stamped in gilt to the front board with accents of yellow and purple. Top edge gilt, other edges untrimmed. Lightly bowed otherwise a really sharp copy, very near fine. Now housed in a newly supplied cream coloured cloth slipcase to keep the book tight and from warping. This edition limited to 250 copies, of which this is number 229, signed by illustrator Harry Clarke.
